C40 Cities

Kate is the Programme Manager of the Mobility Management Programme at C40 Cities Climate Leadership. She convenes a network of transport decision makers delivering strategies and interventions to encourage citizens to make better decisions about how they move around cities. This means providing them with more transport options and making it easier for citizens to choose the transport options that will most benefit public health, social equity and significantly reduce climate emissions.

In particular, Kate leads work with C40 Cities designing and implementing Zero Emission Areas following the political commitment by 27 signatory cities to transform transport in cities through the Green and Healthy Streets Declaration. In conjunction, Kate facilitates a network of cities considering, designing and consulting mobility pricing schemes and she leads the C40 Cities engagement on autonomous vehicles and next generation mobility.

Kate has a Bachelors in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and a Masters in Economics from University College London.
